Web3 Takes Over: Singapore Blockchain Week

Seoul -> Fuzhou -> Singapore

From Seoul, our third stop on the #BMBOnTour, we decided to explore a little of China with a long layover in Fuzhou. What a first experience! Fuzhou is a small city, and while communication in English was tough (our Mandarin skills are non-existent), the people were incredibly kind and helpful. We wandered through street food stalls, played it safe with our food choices, and enjoyed a stroll around the city. After a delay due to Typhoon Yagi, we finally arrived in Singapore.

For those who know me, you understand how special Singapore is! I was beyond excited for a full week of events: TOKEN2049 Solana Foundation #Breakpoint Network State Conference and of course, Formula 1

TOKEN2049 has been absolutely amazing! Over 30k attendees, a 200% increase from last year. The energy? Unmatched! This year saw over 800+ side events, proof of how fast Web3 is expanding. 🚀🚀

Here’s what made it unforgettable:

Web3 Everywhere: The whole city was buzzing with Web3 energy, from the streets to the conference halls.

Non-Stop Events: It felt like there was always something happening, perfect for connecting with the right people.

Diverse Topics: Whether it was DePIN, exchanges, connecting with VCs, marketing, or gaming, there was something for everyone.

We attended in several side events, from small gatherings, yacht parties and rooftop events. To highlight the DigiMarCon - Digital Marketing, Media and Advertising Conferences & Exhibitions in Sentosa. Where I had the opportunity to speak about Marketing and Web3.

Next on the agenda: Solana Breakpoint. The question everyone’s asking, Ethereum or Solana? What’s your pick?

Over the weekend, I attended the Network State Conference, hosted by @Balaji which took place alongside F1.

This year’s lineup included some incredible speakers like Mario Nawfal Vitalik Buterin Bryan Johnson Raj Gokal Brian Armstrong Ranveer Allahbadia Nial Ferguson and Ayaan Hirsi Ali

And to wrap up the week, thanks to Lumia, I had the chance to watch F1 from the top floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group surrounded by Web3 professionals. What a view! What an experience!

As you know, I’ve been conducting interviews during this #BMBOnTour for Pulso Media part of the Creators Group of Rug Radio to highlight key voices in the Web3 space.

In the Singapore edition, I spoke with Jean, Carlos, Shant, Felipe, Jonathan, Jorge, Jiurn, and Jack.

Singapore Blockchain Week has left an unforgettable impression on me. The energy here is next-level, and it’s clear the city is a crypto hub.

I’ll be in Singapore for another week before heading back to Dubai, where I’ll be attending and speaking at several conferences in the coming months. Hit me up if you want to meet!

Stay tuned for more from #BMBOnTour!
